Our Favourite Things
These are a few of our Favourite Things, a changing list of inspirational Things Calgarians can do to make their street, neighbourhood and city a better place for all of us:
- Be a Snow Angel. Watch for people in your neighbourhood who look like they could use a hand with clearing ice and snow from their walk and offer them some help.
- Been on the receiving end of a Snow Angel's generosity? Nominate your neighbour for recognition by contacting the City of Calgary here.
- Nominate an outstanding individual or organization for a Volunteer Calgary Leadership Award. Details here but don't dawdle! Deadline for nominations is January 21, 2013.
